The EconoHIP is a new hip joint developed to address the managed health care needs of today and tomorrow. The joint is machined from aluminum with slots for attachment and ease of adjustment. The cost and function of this joint allows you another option to remain competitive in today's changing market.

The EconoHIP, model number 2040-B provides:

  • Adjustable flexion and extension stops in 20° increments and locking capabilities
  • A distal bar, pre-bent to 15° abduction
  • Pre-slotted (1/4 x 3/4) - (6 x 20mm) uprights for easy attachment to any hip orthosis
  • A joint than can be incorporated left or right
  • A lightweight (5.4 oz) - (152 gr), durable option machined from 2024-T3 aluminum
