The Lerman Shoulder Holster Orthosis (SHO) is fully adjustable in all planes and is designed to enhance functional recovery, while effectively controlling shoulder movement. The orthosis may be used postoperatively, or in conditions where the immobilization of the shoulder is the desired goal. The SHO is available in one universal prefabricated adult size, or can be custom ordered through our Central Fabrication Department.

Clinical Indications:

• Following shoulder fusion, dislocation, reconstruction, or soft tissue repairs
• Following brachial plexus injury this orthosis can be used to prevent further stretch during the healing process and can position the hand for functional activities
