Becker Orthopedic introduces a new prefabricated hip orthosis available in two adjustable sizes. The orthosis is designed primarily for the treatment of Legg-Calve-Perthes disease. The preset hip abduction angle is intended to achieve maximum containment during ambulation. If necessary, the supplied joint will allow the range of hip flexion and extension to be controlled in twenty-degree increments. The orthosis is also available custom made from Becker Central Fabrication.
